HI Everyone!

I know to all of you experienced cake decorators this is going to sound like a very silly question but I can't seem to find a box of "pound cake". What brands do you use.......does the box actually say pound cake? Please help I am trying to learn on my own........with the help of this forum and all of you wonderful decorators (I'm learning quite a bit!). I have to say I think I'm addicted to this website! lol icon_razz.gif

Thanks!

Tammy

Betty Crocker makes a boxed pound cake. There is also a recipe on Duncan Hines yellow cake for pound cake. You add an extra egg and a box of pudding.

Hi,

Food Lion carries the pound cake mix. I can't remember if it's Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines. It's in a red colored box and it is usually down at the bottom shelf and is $1.89 in my area.

Also, have seen it at Walmart.

Hope this helps.

I have a good sour cream pound cake recipe that I can give you. PM me if you would like a copy.
