Anyone Ever Bake A Cake In A Big Stainless Steel Bowl?

Does it work? Does the cake cook all the way through? How long to bake, if so?

I would recommend baking layers, stacking and carving for best results.
Use different size pans so the excess cake is reduced.

i asked on another thread about pyrex and stainless steel, they said yes and said it would take about 45 minutes to cook, haven't tried it yet

Yes, I have and the results........were not good! I should have put a cake nail in first (forgot) the very center was not done, and the outer edges were too done. Have to try again.
