Are there any CCer's in the Macon, GA area that are volunteers for Free Cakes for Kids? I am a little nervous to make it widely know that I signed up to volunteer b/c I don't want to get overwhelmed. Was hoping someone here could team up with me! Thanks!!

I'm in Atlanta. I have signed up with them but havent done anything yet. I've been busy with family members birthdays. How do you plan on making it known?

I was going to make flyers and go to my kids' school counselor to advertise. Free cakes for kids is a program that enlists volunteer bakers to help all children who may otherwise not be able to get a birthday cake, get a cake. I am already a volunteer, but haven't had any cakes yet. If you sign up, Christy, let me know so we can team up!!!
