I am making one of the beer bottle cakes.
my customer wants choc. cake w choc. icing.
I'm not sure they are fans of fondant.
So my question is, can I attach the gumpaste panels(for the sides of the bucket) right to the butter cream and it be stable?
I worry about them falling off and taking half the cake with it.
I also worry about when they go it eat it, if removing the panels will take off the entire side of the cake.
Do you think I'm better off putting fondant on the cake, than attaching the panels. Any advise would be GREAT! I'm making the cake this week and it has to travel a few hours in the car. Thank you guys for ALWAYS being so helpful! You make these stressful situations much easier!!!! icon_lol.gif
