I don't usually post pictures, but I love gnomes, so I want to show this one to anyone who is willing to look at it! I can't get the picture to post for some reason, so go to my blog entry about it, http://acaketorememberva.blogspot.com/2009/10/gnome-cake.html if you want the whole story.

Yes it is. It's Art and Appetite.

Is it okay if I link your blog to my website?

Absolutely, link away! I was going to tell you that you need to update your profile on twitter so that your website is linked in there. I think that you had tweeted about your blog being updated, but there wasn't a link. You can also use either bit.ly or twitterfeed.com to post the individual blog links so that you can keep track of the traffic that you get to the blog from twitter.

Great. Thanks.

Also thanks for the info about twitter. I just recently started using it. I'll fix it now.

Thanks!

I think you can just click on the entry title for the gnome cake on the blog, then bookmark that page when it pulls up just that entry.

It wasn't really a full tutorial, I forgot to take a lot of pictures right in the middle section. If anyone's curious, the clothes and hill were covered in fondant, and the face, hat and arms were modelling chocolate.

I also just added pictures of the couple's baby next to the cake, they're the same size!
