Hi, I'm "trying" to make a tardis cake (photo attached). I baked an 8" square cake and cut it in half. The problem is, the cake WILL NOT stand. As soon as I stand it up, it keeps falling. What do I do?

I made one, pics are in my photos. I stacked 8" square cakes filled with butter cream about 5" tall, used thick drinking straws in a circle around the centre, then did the same again 5" tall stacked cakes on a board, placed it on top, covered in buttercream then fondant, all the accents are fondant. royal icing to pipe lettering
no advice here just had to comment on how amazing it is that you are making a tardis cake...good luck!
