I have to do a cake for a pool party the boy is turning 9 and i am doing a 12x18 sheet cake. I dont want too much detail but something """cool""' LOL... I also have a tye-dyed cake to do and I have never seen or done one so I need all the help I can get

Here a couple that I did. As for the tye-dye...You might be able to use the Wilton icng spray to get that effect. I would practice on a piece of white paper first to see how it looks.

To get tye-dye, I drop a drop or two of air spray coloring onto the icing, and "push it around" with the airgun until it is in a shape that I want. try using like, yellow, blue, and red, they will make other colors when they blend. It's kinda fun, once you get the hang of it. Try dropping the colors on the sides as you spray the air to do the sides of the cake. icon_smile.gif

If you want to use fondant on the tyedye cake, then you can take white fondant and add a few drops of color and only partially mix it in. Then when you roll it out it will be part white and part color and will give the perfect tye dye effect! Good luck with however you do it!
