I received a cake request for a birthday cake in the shape of a sea nettle. They want the cake to be domed shape with rock candy for the nettles, but I can't figure out what to use for the other tentacles. The cake is going to be up on a pillar with these hanging down so it can't be too heavy and I'm afraid fondant or gumpaste would be too fragile and would break. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I attached a picture of what the sea nettle I am working off of looks like if that helps.

gumpaste is fairly sturdy, but you would want spares! how about geletine? i know it can rip, but it would look cool if it worked!

Has anyone ever heard of unbreakable gel by JEM? Do you think that would work? I've never heard of it before, I just ran acrossed it while searching on the internet.
