Hello everyone,

i'm hoping to get a lil help here.

I would like to try a white chocolate cake with raspberry filling and i want to ALSO use chocolate ganache as a filler too. so my question is can i put the raspberry on top of the ganache? and will I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SEEPAGE OR OVER SPILL. i planned on making a dam on top of ganache first. im sorry if i sound confused lol. TIA

I would do alternate layers of ganache and the raspberry filling, not together.

I've made it both ways - I used a raspberry filling recipe I found here on CC, it is quite thick and doesn't seep into the cake so you can use it on its own. Also works well with a layer of ganache between the cake and the raspberry. The ganache sets hard so you don't need a dam, a thick layer around the outside will hold it in if your filling is thick.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE WITH MORE EXPERIENCED BAKERS BEFORE I TRIED IT.
