This weekend I made SMBC for the first time, and I think t was great to work with, easy to make and tasted great.

I made raspberry SMBC, but I would like to hear if anyone has other ideas. For instance, I was thinking about adding champagne, has anyone tried this? Chocolate cake with champagne cream, uhm icon_lol.gif

Thanks.

You can make SMBC/IMBC any flavor you want. For champagne, I would use Lorann's champagne flavoring.

Thanks, but I'm in Denmark and Lorann is not available here, I was thinkning more of adding real champagne, I'm just worried it would make the smbc too runny.

I'm also curious about what can be used in lieu of Lorann oils. Can you use other things to flavor SMBC? I want to make a pumpkin SMBC for some cupcakes, and I'm wondering if adding puree would make the texture funky...

Thoughts?
