I have some NFSC dough in my refrig and since I'm practicing on cookies for my daughter's wedding, I thought I would like to make some chocolate roll outs - but I don't want to start a new recipe.

I'm wondering if I can just add cocoa powder? Anyone done this before?

Again, thanks.

yes, you can substitute some of the flour with cocoa powder. I dont have my recipe in front of me to give you exact amts, but someone here will know.

I also add a little coffee to enhance the choc flavor.

perhaps I misunderstood your post? Are you wanting to add choc to dough that is already prepared & refrigerated? I don't know how you would do that.

Yes, that's it - I have dough already prepared and it just popped in my head to make chocolate - I used half of it for the regular sugar cookie.

I know - it's kind of late to ask this...........................
