How do you attach fondant accents to a fondant covered cake?

You can use edible glue or even lightly brush the area with water to attach the two pieces of fondant.

You can use a light brushing of water - too much water will make the pieces slide off - ask me how I know!!!

The quickest and easiest is water - but not too much!!! You can also use piping gel.

I have also used some leftover buttercream, but if you do be careful it will show up white if it oozes out from under your accents. I have also used water and it worked fine to.

On Cake Boss he uses a steamer to lightly steam the cake so the decorations stick to it.

I use a light brushing of water, or I mix some Gum-tex powder with water to make a thin "glue".
