I finished my daughter's cake yesterday and am quite pleased with myself. It isn't perfect. I had issues with my first batch of MMF. It was too dry and I never got it exactly right for placing on the cake so there are some cracks. I didn't have time to remake it, so I just did the best I could. The second batch I made was perfect, so the top layer looks great. I posted a pic in the gallery.

I definitely learned a lot in this process and can't wait to try my had at this again. It was a LOT of fun. And my hat is off to anyone who does more than one of these a week. icon_biggrin.gif

I love it! The colors are so nice and bright, and you're right, the blue fondant is perfect. I had a lot of trouble with green fondant this weekend...it's never been a tricky color for me the way red is, but last night it was.

Thank you! I had soooo much fun working on it this week. The guests at the party even ate the fondant. hee hee. They said it tasted better than what they've had in the past.
