just bought my first batch of satin ice in purple because I wanted a really deep purple I knew I wouldn't get right... I rolled it out and put it on my cake and it cracked... what am I doing wrong?

I pulled it off and I have just enough to try again.... help please!

Make sure you knead it well....I also add a bit of shortening when I knead it.

When you roll it, don't use cornstarch to roll it on...use just a bit of powdered sugar and work fast becuase fondant dries fast.
