I am wanting to make a birthday cake for my mother, and want to make a basket with a bottle in it.

My question is.... I don't have a basket weave embosser, and don't have to time to order one. Does anyone have any ideas what I can use???

I sure would appreciate any help anyone can give me on this!

Thanks
Rhonda

You can pipe a basketweave on the cake. It is labor intensive but I enjoy doing it. You use the basket weave tip which is wilton #47

mmmm - do you by chance have the ETA Original Barbecue Sauce over there?

The base of it makes a PERFECT basketweave embosser icon_biggrin.gif

Many different tips can be used to pipe basket weave - not just tip 47 icon_smile.gif
Try tip 16, 18, even rounds, like 5, 7 or 9.

Are you wanting to use fondant or buttercream?
