Hi All!
I was wondering if anyone has ever done a wash basin with melted/formed chocolate? I was thinking of making a mold for it or something. I want my boards to look nice and firm. Everytime I make it with fondant it tends to sag. I thought the chocolate would be a yummy way to do it! Here is the basic cake I am trying to achieve......Anyone have any ideas or tips for me for the boards and making them out of chocolate?

i made my "basket" (same principal as the wash tub) with store bought fondant(wilton)....didnt even use gumpaste....i cut them out and laid them out on paper towel to dry and harden...i had plenty of notice for the cake i was doing so i let them lay out for 4-5 days.....they didnt wilt and held up good for a 45 minute car ride.....would definately do it again....
