Than you so much guys!
Okay let's see..
Tramsformers cakepan is about $11.99
Bake even strips about $20.00-$25.00
Stencils about $6.99 a package of 4-6
Tasty fill pan..not sure...
Silicone is not sold at Michael's..Kitchen supply store
Some stencils do cost as much as $60.
Yup...That is true but I was assuming she meant cheaper stencils from Michael's
The tasty fill pan is about $20.00.
And for the stencils, have her check in hobby lobby by the paint section, they have some there that are really pretty and much cheaper.
Thank you so much! for all the responses. i'll be sending my list to my aunt now By the way What store sells silicon mold (i'll try to make sugar bottles) in California and how much would it cost? Thanks again!
Just so you know though - it doesn't have anything to do with you not being from the US. Michael's just doesn't list their prices on their website. It drives me slightly crazy sometimes.
Michaels may not list their prices and products since it may vary from state to state and store to store.
If it is a Wilton Item (like the pans and bake even strips listed above) I'd just check out Wilton.com. There prices may be a little off from Michaels, but it usually isn't much and will give you an idea of the cost.
I'd search the internet for the silocone molds you are looking for. When it comes to the sugar bottles I do believe alot of people use the make a mold product and make their own. I'm sure you could buy some online somwhere. Silcone molds are usually pricey.
Great idea for the OP Texas!
I made my bottle mold out of "mold builder" that I got at Michaels. It was around $20 but I used a 40% coupon.
I never thought about making a mold out of that. Although - given the name of the product, I should have. I guess I didn't think it would be food safe. But normally, people aren't going to be eating the gumpaste things things that have dried anyway.
I think I might just try it!
silicon mold maker is about $13 per jar, 1 jar = a little more than 1 beer bottle
Here's a video on making molds with mold maker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hinQva4cZyQ&feature=channel
$13 for a silicone mold maker? Can I re-used it? Thank you guys for all the responses
