Planet cake recomends using an apricot syrup...can you use something else? water, simple syrup, another jam?
I'm pretty sure you can use all of the above. I used ganache under fondant for the first time on a cake and used simple syrup and loved how it worked! HTH.
I used to use water but sugarshack recommends simple syrup so now that is what I use
