I love this site. I am always on here reading everyones post and I can't get enough. I think I learn something new everyday! Like today, I didnt even think about ever melting jolly ranchers.. well now I know. Thanks to all you wonderful people. I love posting my pics and getting everyones feedback and just checking out everyone elses work and getting inspired to try something new. I would be lost without this site!

Now, i just need to pull myself away from here to get busy on the cake that is sitting on the counter...lol!

I'm glad you love this site as much as most of us do.

Good luck with your cake.

I have to say, Me Too!! I have been a lurker for years, so it feels like I know everyone. I talk to my husband about this site and what is sad is he knows exactly who IndyDebi, K8, LaBellaFlor, etc are, even though I don't! I have learned so much from this site, LOVE IT!

I first stumbled upon this site this summer and I had to smile with the caveat "it is addicting". Yeah, sure. But, IT IS! As mentioned above, it is the first thing I check in the morning and I get so inspired! But I spend so much time perusing various threads and learning so many tips and hints, ooohing and aaahing over so many beautiful creations, and sharing catastrophes and successes that I find I am not nearly as productive as I was BCC-(Before Cake Central)! Now I just need to wrench more hours out of the day to apply all this knowledge to my cakes. My head is swimming with ideas I am dying to put to use. Gotta shake loose and get going!

(I don't know when I will no longer be considered a "newbie", but if the hours spent here at the computer count, consider me an old timer.)

Look - you're no longer a newbie you are now a Junior Member. Yeah.

And to the person with the melted jolly ranchers - give it up. What is that all about and what do you use it for.

This site is a lot of fun...sometimes I think I'll never manage to try everything that I read about here, there are so many great things.
