I just got all my questions answered in another thread about how much this recipe makes...lo and behold I reread the instructions and it says to nuke it in the microwave! Problem - I don't have one (we've literally burned up 3 and decided that's enough). Can MFF be made on the stovetop or should I search out a new recipe?

Thanks!!!

Yes! It sure can - just dissolve the gelatin in the cream as usual, and then heat everything together in a double boiler until it isn't grainy anymore, then let cool to lukewarm as usual.
