I absolutley love this recipe so far!! Thanks Deb!! icon_biggrin.gif I am wondering how much of a cake this recipe covers though? I am making a two teired cake with yellow icing on the bottom and red on top. I have made two batches, one of each color. Will this be enough? I am also making two small "smash" cakes. One for his pictures and one for his party. How much icing should I be making? Does anyone know? I am trying to get it all ready in advance. TIA! icon_smile.gif

I can ice a 2-layer 8" round cake, complete with borders and decors and have icing left over.

I can usually do a complete 10" round 2-layer with one batch.

When I make wedding cakes, I usually figure 8 lbs (4 bags) of p.sugar for every 7 cake mixes, if that helps.

This stuff stores well for a long time, so any leftovers can be used later.
