When adding a box of pudding mix to a scratch recipe for extra moisture, what do you also add to balance it out? I think I remember reading that you need 1/3 cup of oil?? please help. i cant locate where i may have seen the answer before. TIA!

I added 1/2 cup more milk to the recipe I used. Everyone really liked the cupcakes and even commented how they were the most moist cupcakes they've ever had! It is now my go to vanilla cupcake recipe. I don't remember who posted it, but it was the vanilla cake recipe from Mermaid Bakery if you are interested.
