It's for a cake for tonight, so sorry for the urgency! I'm attaching white chocolate strips around the sides of my cake, kind of like a fence.

Should I use a non-crusting bc on the cake, or just stick them on before my bc crusts? Or, is there a better method? Thanks for the help!

You could stick them on while the crusting BC is still soft, or just brush the backs of them with some RI or melted chocolate and stick them on.

I like the idea of using the melted chocolate on the backs, but, that will still stick to already crusted bc? It seems like that would give it a little more stability. Thanks again!

You could use a dab of buttercream or melted chocolate. Both should work fine.

When I make my City Skyline cakes, I just pipe some BC on the backside and slap it up against the cake. Holds up fine.
