Cake Sticking To The Bottom Of The Pan, Help!

Greetings All,
I'm new to cake baking and I keep running into trouble with the cake sticking to the bottom of the pan when I go to release it. I use crisco and flour to prepare the pan, but the cake still sticks. Any tricks to the trade that you'd like to share?
Thank you!!
Kimberly
Cut a piece of wax paper to the size of you pan, and place it in the bottom. You can also put it around the sides as well.
Homeade cake release: mix equal parts all-purpose flour, shortening, and vegetable oil together. It will look like a thick paste. Brush pans liberally with this. Store in an air-tight container. Works great and is cheap!
I use the cake release recepie here on cc and it is WONDERFUL!! I rarely have a cake stick.
I spray the bottom with Baker's Joy and then line with parchment. If you have a cake that's already stuck you can try freezing it in the pan, then turn upside down and give it a good bang on the counter.
