I was in Michael's today, and they were all sold out of Halloween themed ribbon! icon_surprised.gif I was looking around for something that I could use to put around the edge of my cake board, and I found orange/black nonpareils. If I put a thin layer of royal icing around the base of the board, do you think the nonpareils would stick in place and not fall off? I'm mostly concerned because of the handling of the cake board. What do you think?

TIA!

IF the cake were not going to be moved, it would work, but otherwise I think they'd rub off.

I'm thinking you're right. I just went ahead and ordered some ribbon from ebay.

Thanks!
