I've been seeing the pictures of candle cakes where hole was cut in the cake and a tea light was used. What is the best thing to use as a barrier between the cake and light? One suggested plastic wrap, but said to be careful that it didn't melt once the light burned for a little while.

This is just one of many. http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1461575

You can do a cake candle search and find many more.

Hadn't thought about a battery operated light. Thanks!
