Well I have created my first gumpaste/fondant person. I have not decided if I like her yet or not. I made her for my daughters second birthday cake and I was using my daughter as a model. I was trying to make her a little spirited. She is going to be sitting on the edge of a large book. Her party is themed with ABC's and Books.

Thank you all for your kind words!! This morning when I showed her to my daughter I asked her if she like her. She replied "Oh Yeah Mommy". "She's Cute". That made my day. I was looking at her last night and just stairing at all the flaws I saw. I forgot that it was for my little one and whe I saw how excited she got after seeing it I stopped looking so much at the flaws. icon_biggrin.gif

She's a cutie, so I guess your daughter is, too. Happy Birthday to her!

Some of the most gratifying figures are those you make of family members. I treasure them still (really, I take them off the cake and preserve them!) Your figure is adorable and, like others, I'm crazy about whatever imprint you used for the overalls! It's all in the details!

VERY Cute! How long did she take you? Did you use any support inside her?

Her head took me about 2 hours, I hand rolled the Hair. The body took me about an hour and a half. It came togather a lot faster than I thought. Yes I have 2 supports to steadt the body and head.
