Can I fill a torted WASC cake with american buttercream and then freeze until I am ready to finish decorating it? Will the buttercream texture change any after it has frozen and thawed?

I would try it, but I have frozen cakes filled with just buttercream and been fine. But I think in the end it depends on the fillings, ie I wouldn't do it with a cream cheese filling if I were you (or fresh fruit for that matter)
