I'm doing my first ever tiered cake for my sister's bridal shower. I'm going to use a few silk flowers to decorate it.

Is there anything I need to do to make them food safe? Should I wrap the stem in wax paper or anything? Just want to be sure I do things right!

Also, sidenote...anyone know how many cups one batch of Buttercream Dream makes? I've made it several times before, and usually double the recipe, but am not sure how many batches I need to get to apx 14 cups for my 10/8/6" cakes.

Thank you so much!!!

Jill

Thank you. I honestly tried searching for the answer in an existing thread first, but for some reason I don't have much luck with the search function here.

Bummer. I was hoping for no additional work!
