Does anyone know how long Wilton's BC recipe (w/shortening only) will stay usable if refrigerated?
Don't know about the refrigerator, but I freeze my shortening based bc for months. Pull out what need...when I need.
Wilton tells you it is good for two weeks on the kitchen cabinet. I've kept it in the fridge for a month or so. If it will be longer than that, then I'd just freeze it. It doesn't take long to thaw.
