I have a client that is considering doing dummy cakes for her wedding. But I have never done them before. She asked me a question that stumped me. How do you do the traditional "cake cutting" with the bride and groom if all of the tiers are dummies? Any help would be fantastic! TIA!
Make the top tier *real cake* that way they can be seen to be cutting an actual cake -
Have the dummies - and then alongside of that - have a small cutting cake -
Both ideas will work - for the traditional cutting and for photographs.
