Hi, Im in the UK I want to do this recipe but Im not sure what 7/8 c is. I know 1 cup equals 8 fluid ounces measured in a jug so is 7/8c 7 fluid ounces?

White Chocolate Paste
Ingredients
1 lb. 8 oz. White Chocolate
7/8 c. Granulated Sugar
1/4 c. + 3 1/2 Tbs. Water
3 1/4 c. Powdered Sugar

In the U.S., a cup is a measure of volume. A cup of water weighs 8 oz., but not everything does...

The linked conversion calculator lists granulated sugar at 200 grams/cup:

Here, lynddy-lou, I've converted the recipe for you!

683.28 grams white chocolate
175 grams granulated sugar
111.09375 grams water
390 grams icing sugar

I made it but it is very greasy is this right also does it dry out a bit firmer

I've never made it either, but I believe your supposed to let it sit over night before use.
