I would like to make this cake but i'm not sure how to make the number.. is there a pan for this or is this really good carving?

There is a "3" pan. Not sure if Wilton still makes it.

There's one on this site, but it's not as big as the Thomas picture. I'm assuming she carved that. - Good Luck!

I think it's made with two ring pans and just minimal carving. Imagine two circles (rings) with bits cut out to make them fit together. I don't think I'm being very clear. Sorry. I have a book of kids' birthday cakes which shows how to do this. PM me if you'd like me to send you a copy of the page.
