I've had my oven on since around 10am and just turned it off now...what did i make you ask? Only four pies, and a tray of tarts. I only bake 'em one at a time because i find if i do it any other way it just further extends the baking time or the bottom pie would burn etc.. Granted my three apple pies are very thick. I make sure i stack them really high so that they still have nice height when they are done baking. Each pie took around 2hrs to bake. I still have cherry tarts to make tommorrow. I probably should've just baked them up tonight but i was just to tired to continue.
Dreaming of the day this oven crashes and i just HAVE to get a convection oven.lol
On a good note, the house smells heavenly..just like thanksgiving.
