Yippee!!! This will be my first day to bake in my new shop! All my supplies are still pretty much a mess, but I can organize while baking. I have 3, count them, 3 ovens! Can't wait to see how this works out. I have the busiest weekend next week that I've ever had. So will be baking and freezing for those cakes.

Wish me luck!

WOOOHOOOO!!!!! I'm currently in the process of getting a shop. If you don't mind me asking..... what type of ovens do you have? I have no bloody clue which ones are best for baking.

Thanks for the happy thoughts! I baked a few layers early this morning then had to stop and go to dr's appt. Will hit it again early in the morning.

Here is a link to some of my pics. Obviously its before I moved all the cake stuff in. As soon as I get my stuff in its place (translated - neater looking) I will post some more pics.

For my ovens, I have a double oven that I bought used and then just a household range, so I have 3 ovens! All electric.

Deb, I certainly hope the work goes faster. LOL!!

Thanks! LOOOVVVEEEE the fridge too! I got it used for $800 which I thought was a steal! Hoping to get some organization done today. Adding some shelves above the stainless tables (got another of them coming) them maybe take some pics this afternoon if I still have the energy.

Thanks everyone! Still working out the kinks and trying to get the work flow more efficient. I did get all the cakes baked and frozen, icing and fondant made over the weekend. Now tomorrow evening I will start the gumpaste work and cover by boards. Heavy weekend then head out on a cruise next week. Woohoo!!!

My dad built it when I had a restaurant a few years ago. It is a whole sheet of plywood on the top 4' x 8'. it gives me room for buttercream work at one end and fondant stuff at the other end.
