Can I use regular pudding instead of instant in a box cake recipe that calls for instant? Will it make a difference? What was I thinking????? Don't have receipt so I can't return item for the right stuff!
I use the regular all the time and it works fine for me.
I have done the same thing and haven't had a problem when I used the wrong pudding. It is funny though some recipes call for instant and others call for the cooked kind.
Thanks for the info. I baked my cakes this weekend and used the regular cook pudding and you are right - I could not tell the difference! WHEW!!!
