WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE THE FONDANT 'BABY FEET" TO PUT ON THE CAKE. DO YOU JUST TRACE THE PATTERN?

I have a baby foot cookie cutter that I use when I want fondant baby feet. I have also used a rubber stamp that I paint with food color when I want to stamp the feet on fondant.
