? I would like to cover 3 8" (3" deep) cakes with fondant. I have app. 350 grams black fondant. It is pre colored. My question would that be enough? I do not have time to get more and hate to color myself as you need soo much black to color with.

Hi, you need 900g of fondant to cover a 8" round cake. What you've got is not enough.

that´s what I figured! Just needed to hear it from someone else!. Will use frosting and fondant squares. I live in germany, so i can not get fondant everywhere-and this was a last minute cake job-no time to order more.!

Should be fine though-I hope!
