I thought maybe a 8" square and 1/2 of a ball pan??
Any other ideas/thougts?

Also, if the client does not want fondant, how would you make the buttercream really smooth on this type of shape?

Thanks again!

If you don't need the cake too soon; you should try Mike McCarey's DVD, Cakenology!! He takes you through the steps of doing a 3D car!!

Isn't the Wilton car pan a VW bug?

The cake is for this weekend, too bad, that video may have been great to use.

Not sure about the wilton pan. It would be great if I did not have to buy another pan.
