Got smart --- food will be supplied by a cater with a good friend taking care of details of setting and serving at reception.
Wedding is this Saturday!! Soooo - today I am working on a 6 tier wedding cake and a grooms cake. Wedding cake will be a topsy turvy with gum paste flowers. Plus working on finishing the grooms cake which has a life size large mouth bass, with a tree trunk (vision a scene by a creek bank with fish jumping out of creek!)
Well back to work.

Now, change 'mother of the bride' to 'actually the bride', add 'cater the entire wedding' and 'New York gets blown up three days before the wedding' and you've got what I went through. 
You can SO handle this. You are a superhero right now. The day after the wedding you can be a drooling pile of blobulous yucky... today, you are invincible. No one will forget your name!
