Can anyone tell me the best way or direct me to a previous topic that discusses the best way to attach a gumpaste bow to a buttercream cake. It will be delivered 20 miles so I want to make sure it's on securely. Thanks so much in advance.

i just use some buttercream. it really depends on where you are attaching the bow, if its on the side, i would wire it and insert a straw in the cake to anchor it down

I use piping gel it seems to hold it.

I should have been more specific. It's on the side of the cake, middle of a 4-tier round.

I like royal icing if there is time for it to dry if not I use butter cream and prefer to place it on after delivery both ways I would use a long scewer at an angle
