Has anyone ever tried these brands of buttercream? I am just wondering how they taste... Normally I make my own buttercream, but I have a 500 serving wedding cake coming up and am looking to lower cost and cut some corners to save time. (It's only me decorating aside from small help from my family - with my guidance). It will ultimately be a fondant cake, anyway so the buttercream will be pretty minimal under the fondant. Help please???
CK Icing is what a lot of grocery stores use - VERY sweet.
I've bought Henry & Henry and I like it better. It comes in a medium to stiff consistency, but it's workable.
