Anyone know how to get a true Teal color? I have the teal liquid color to color w/ fondant, but i find it is so hard to replicate that color.

http://www.cakes-a-nonymous.com/2009/08/first-wedding-consultation.html

this is the color of the dress i am trying to get and i am having the hardest time.

So far i've added a bit of black color and black fondant to darken it a bit, and so far it's not close.

any suggestions? I have my first wedding cake next weekend.

I just use the Wilton teal color. It works pretty well.

Without seeing the color you have, it's hard to say, but I like to add brown to get a darker, more earthy tone in my colors.

i'll have to do more testing this week with the color to get the right teal color.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. icon_biggrin.gif
