If someone could give me some feedback on where in florida I can find styrofoam to do a mock cake and where I could also find satin ice fondant. I have been doing fondant myself, which is fine, but would like to try satin ice as I have been told it is the perferred fondant for cake decorators.

Fondant is very a much a personal preference thing. Everyone has different results with every brand. You have to find what works for you. I have heard people say good things about Satin Ice and I have heard just as many complain about Satin Ice. I don't know where anyone got the idea that it is the preffered brand for decorators.
