Hi Everyone,

I have been asked to do a cake by my MIL for one of her friends. It will be a combination birthday party/engagement party (birthday is for the man who is engaged). She would like to have one cake, celebrating both occasions - engagement and male birthday (35th). On top of that, somewhere in the cake, I need to incorporate a rooster (apparently it is an inside joke with a number of his friends). Any suggestions?

After 35 years, the best b-day present: a wife!
cock-a-doodle doo!

cake features rooster and a hen

for fun, and engagement ring is around the hen's neck!

I like Doug's idea.
I am making a RD cake/birthday cake for my groom next weekend. I am doing a dirt bike/road theme. Road of life kind of thing--you could put a rooster in the dirt with something like that.
