I am going to be trying this cake (well it will be a Bee) and am wondering if someone has made this cake before and can reccomend a pound cake recipe. I've been told to use pound cake as the instructions say to do a pound cake that will yield 4 cups and a layer cake mix for the remainder. (any type of cake mix?)

Has anyone made this before, any tips?

if you are using box mixes...

you just add the pound cake mix and the other cake mix (whatever flavor you want to use) then add all the ingredients together into the Kitchen Aid/mixing bowl. Mix as you normally would, 30 seconds on low, 2 minutes on medium-high.

Measure 6 1/2 cups (i believe it is). I would recommend using the heating core that comes with the bear pan. Fill that with some cake as well.
