Hi, I have a cake next week with a ribbon around the second layer, similar to this cake.

I know I have to iron the ribbon against wax paper. But how do I tie it around the cake??

Any suggestions would be great, thanks!!

you don't necessarily have to tie it around the cake...you could do it in stages. attach the ribbon around. then cut more ribbon, angled on bottom of course, and attach that part. then do the bow and attach that last!

If using crusting BC on your cake wait until it has crusted, you could line your ribbon with a strip of wax paper then secure ends with a dab of BC. HTH!
