I have a quick question...
stacking my first tiered fondant covered cake in the morning.
Do the dowels go in before or after the fondant??
I'm assuming after, but can it be done either way?
I do it after... Not sure what is correct though... I cut it so that it is almost flush with the top fondant layer...
they go after. cover tiers with fondant, stack then dowel so you can put dowels through the entire tiers into the cake board for stability. I use sps now, no more dowels for me
I would really love a video tutorial of the sps system... anyone have the urge to post one? prettttty pretttty pls?
