Does Sugarshack Buttercream Crust?

Should it get a crust? Mine is very fluffy. It's beautiful, smooth and yummy but it is soft even after putting it in the frige.

I used Wal-Mart's shortening with transfat.

Yes, it crusts, although it can take a bit longer than others.

I've never made it with anything other than high ratio - let me know if it crusts for you - mine crusts perfectly! LOVE her recipe!!

it crusts by the time i finish icing the cake; it is ready for viva within 5 minutes
