But I really don't know. I'm relatively new to cake making and I've never tried a white cake w/ cream cheese filling. Has anyone ever tried cream cheese icing w/ white cake?

I've never done it, but it sounds pretty good to me. Give it a try and let us know!

I made cake balls with WASC and plain cream cheese, added mini choc. chips - very tasty. Tonight I will be making them with WASC and cream cheese frosting - I'll let you know. Should be pretty good.

Do you keep these chilled?

I chill them because of the cream cheese.

Thank you--some of us don't realize the need to keep cream cheese safe like you're doing.

Cream cheese icing goes with just about everything! (Yellow/white cake, chocolate cake, lemon cake, almond cake, carrot cake, red velvet cake, hummingbird cake, banana cake, spice cake...) icon_biggrin.gif
